"Rockin out for Ruddy" Benefit Update!!!!!

A sincere thanks goes out to EVERYONE who made to the benefit we held on Thursday the 23rd of April a HUGE SUCCESS!! We want to thank Sandi Adams from the Radisson for the space, Cousin -B- and Mega Mix DJ for the ROCKIN tunes along with everyone who donated items for the silent auction, pasta bar and directly to Kelly's benefit fund at US Bank and OF COURSE EVERYONE who came out to join us in supporting Kelly!! Many of you know Kelly Ruddy, our executive banquet chef, was diagnosed in February with lung cancer at the young age of 41. Being Carolyn is a stay at home mom he is the sole financial supporter for his family of 5. I am VERY HAPPY to announce that we raised over $7700 for the Ruddy family and we're STILL COUNTING! Another update on Kelly is that he went in for surgery to collect a biopsy the Friday morning after the benefit and it was determined he has "non small cell" cancer and will be starting chemo ASAP as told by the doctor. He will go in on Friday the 1st of May to decide what his next plan of action is. All of the support they received has helped them pull through not only financially but emotionally as well. Now with Kelly going through treatment he can focus on him and his family and not have to worry everyday about getting back to work. Below are some pictures from the SUCCESSFUL event on Thursday!!
